Area churches to host Lenten community services starting March 2 – The Mercury

The Coventry/Warwick Ministry is again planning Lenten services on Wednesday evenings for the surrounding community.

Beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 2, six area churches will take turns hosting worship with a different preacher each week. A Good Friday service completes the program.

There will be scripture readings, seasonal hymns, answering prayers and time for reflection. All are invited to live one, some or all the evenings to give more meaning to Lent.

Wednesday services begin at 7:00 p.m. and end with light refreshments. All are invited to attend in person.

If not in person, enjoy watching the service on the Ministerium’s YouTube channel – Note: Live streaming services will depend on the technical capabilities available at the time of worship.
