Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas Opens Satellite Office at St. Sabina Church to Help Preserve Homeownership
CHIACGO, November 17, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Cook County Treasurer Maria pappas opened a satellite office at Saint Sabina’s Church as part of its Black Houses Matter Home Ownership Preservation Program.
Partnership with the father Michael pfleger, Senior Pastor of St. Sabina, Pappas’ goal is to remove properties from the tax sales list by helping homeowners search $ 72 million in available property tax refunds dating back 20 years and $ 43 million four years missing exemptions.
