Crosstimbers Community Church Pantry Expands | New

EDNA — Volunteers rushed in all directions inside the community hall of the Edna Crosstimbers Community Church a week ago, loading large platform carts with pallets full of food boxes , pulling meat and bread from freezers and filling coolers and crates.

Everything was hauled to the parking lot, as cars and trucks lined the block. Other volunteers went from vehicle to vehicle, checking people in, determining if they were financially eligible for the basics, or if they were just there for one of the free food boxes filled with fruit and vegetables, which are distributed to anyone in need.
