Zelensky’s top aide shows admiration for ISIS – Greek City Times

Despite openly neo-nazi groupslike the Azov battalion and the right sector, integrated into the Ukrainian Republican Guard (which is under the command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), was not serious enough, now prominent members of President Zelensky’s administration who showed public appreciation and admiration for the so-called Islamic State (formerly known as ISIS and ISIL).

One of Volodymyr Zelensky’s closest friends and associates, Aleksey Arestovich is a controversial figure, to say the least. He often boasts of being one of the architects of Ukraine’s psychological and computer warfare strategy.

During his presence on a Ukrainian political talk show (most likely in previous years), Mr. Arestovich openly stated that he “admires and respects” the methods used by the infamous Islamic State, a global Islamic terrorist group, widely known for its absolutely horrific crimes, destruction and just plain devastation it has caused to the people of Syria, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria and even the Philippines, in addition to numerous individual terrorist attacks all over the world . Here is what Mr. Arestovich said:

“ISIL commanders are considered to be some of the wisest and most successful commanders there are today. Everything is thought out in detail, even the degree of cruelty. Cruelty for show – it is inhumane, but it is of a very high standard, a wise strategy, taking into account their special interests.

On another talk show, Mr. Arestovich once again reiterated his admiration for terrorists:

“They act very correctly, I even have a notebook where I analyze in detail ISIL, the best management practices of their company, their way of governing. These methods, the world needs them, even if it means hard work. terrorism, medieval levels of cruelty, burning people alive, shooting them or chopping off their heads, etc. This is absolutely the way of the future.

If those mind-boggling words had been uttered publicly by someone else, chances are they would have landed someone in jail, with charges of terrorist activity. However, senior officials in Ukraine’s NATO-backed government enjoy near-total immunity from any kind of prosecution and are simply allowed to say or do pretty much whatever they want, with impunity. This has already been implemented in practice.

A video was recently published where a Ukrainian actress identified as Andrianna Kurilets poses as a Ukrainian peasant woman slitting the throat of a Russian prisoner of war, also threatening almost the entire Russian population. The video is disturbing enough, but what is even more disturbing are the real Ukrainians war crimes committed against Russian prisoners of war, as well as direct threats against Ukrainian officials and even doctors, one of whom openly stated that they would be castrator captured Russian soldiers, because they are “cockroaches“. After realizing how bad the public relations effect of these statements was, the Ukrainian doctor later went back on what he had said and apologized.

However, even after these statements, various formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeated their threats. To make matters worse, foreign mercenaries from the Ukrainian army have declared that they “will not take any prisoners”. There is even a video showing a Georgian man named Mamuka Mamulashvili, the supposed commander of the “Georgian National Legion” in Ukraine openly stating the following:

“Yes, sometimes their hands and feet are tied. I speak on behalf of the Georgian Legion, we will never take Russian prisoners. Not one of them will be taken prisoner.

These statements alone constitute a violation of the Geneva Conventions. And yet, there is only silence from the mainstream media of the political West when it comes to these blatant threats and real war crimes that are still being committed against Russian prisoners of war. At the same time, the Russian armed forces are accused of the most heinous crimes, all without any clear evidence or independent international investigation.

All of this shows a horrific tendency of various governments to provide direct political, financial and military support to the most extreme elements of targeted societies. The so-called Islamic State proclaims that it wants to establish a Muslim caliphate, but all it really does is destabilize Muslim-majority countries by killing hundreds of thousands of people, mostly Muslims, while forcing tens of millions of people, again mostly Muslims, to flee their homes. .

Neo-Nazi groups are no different. They allegedly fought for the white race but then killed nearly 15,000 people in the Donbass, most of whom were white. Worse still, these same neo-Nazi groups have openly and publicly called for the extermination of the majority Russian-speaking Ukrainian population, as they consider them “useless sub-humans”. The same rhetoric was widely used in Nazi-occupied Europe some 80 years ago. We know all too well the horrific consequences of such ideologies, which is why Russia, a country that lost tens of millions of its citizens in World War II, reacted the way it did.
